Matthias Beckert is the conductor of the Monteverdi Choir Würzburg and the vocal ensemble Cantabile Regensburg. As a choir director, he has worked with radio choirs such as the Polish Radio Choir, the Bavarian Radio Chorus, the Netherlands Radio Choir, Berlin Radio Choir and the Gächingen Chorale. As a choirmaster, he also conducted from 2007 to 2012 the Suhl Singakademie and the Suhl Boys' Choir till.
