Coping with any epoch and style, Cantabile Regensburg presents a cappella literature from modern times to the Renaissance. Numerous awards at prestigious competitions at home and abroad certify the high standard of the ensemble. In 2009, the vocal ensemble received the highest rating at the Bavarian Choir Competition and also achieved an excellent ranking at the German Choir Competition 2010 in Dortmund. First recordings on CD, i.a. works by Heinz-Werner Zimmermann, Wolfram Buchenberg and Hans Koessler, document the high musical level of the chamber choir.
